Austin has something for everyone, attracting all types from college students to families to business and technology professionals. What’s not to love?
Not surprisingly, Austin has also ranked first on Forbes’s list of fastest growing cities for four years in a row. Austin’s 2.5% population growth increase for 2013 makes it the highest of all geographic regions. Unfortunately for Austinites, increased immigration spells more traffic, more crowds, and more high rises.
So go ahead, come into town for ACL fest or a Formula One race. We will welcome you with open arms, Southern charm, and breakfast tacos. But for God’s sake, please don’t move here!
